Dr. Peter Ramsauer, Federal Minister of Transport, will take up the patronage of eCarTec, 2nd International Trade Fair for electric mobility, which will take place in Munich from October 19-21, 2010. "My goal is set: A total of at least one million electric cars driving on Germany’s streets by 2020."

eCarTec München 2010 on the road to success

Great expectations combine the industry’s specialist fields with the most important trade fair for electric mobility, eCarTec, which is to be held again in Munich from October 19 to 21. eCarTec München, the trade fair for electric mobility, brings together all current developments and technologies in the sectors, including: electric vehicles, energy market, storage technology, drive trains, vehicle construction and finances at one trade fair. The trade fair concept includes the presentation of the latest innovations in electric mobility, a convention on the latest topics and a large-scale test track. "We are extremely satisfied with the number of registrations for eCarTec München 2010. Compared to last year, we’re already 100% up on occupied stand area. Over 300 suppliers to the electric mobility market will be represented. There are some other important new players such as Siemens and SB LiMotive Germany (Bosch)", says Robert Metzger, Managing Director and organiser of eCarTec München 2010.

We address a highly educated target audience, male and female LOHAS emphasizing the value of design, content and quality.   • 10,624 visitors witnessed the progress made in electric mobility for the first time
  • Over 350 participants visited the eCarTec Conference held alongside the specialist trade fair
  • Over 2,000 participants informed themselves at the eCarTec-Forum and the Financial Forum
  • The testing range was used every day by enthusiastic visitors
  • Important developments in the field of electric mobility received the eCarTec Award
  • Vehicles of important providers were introduced at the trade fair by manufacturers, system providers, development or marketing companies, some were even presented during a road test.
  • The trade fair featured cars, utility vehicles and sports cars
